Hobonichi Tamagotchi: Sticky Notes
A sticky note set born from the collaboration between Hobonichi and the digital handheld pet game Tamagotchi. Five designs with 20 sheets each feature Kuchipatchi, Mimitchi and Mametchi – classic pixel characters from the original 1996 series – plus Techotchi, an exclusive new character developed specifically for this Hobonichi collaboration, and the iconic poo symbol. The sticky notes are cut so that the characters peek out sideways from the Techo pages as index tabs.
Features
- Five designs, 20 sheets each: A total of 100 sticky notes – plenty to use generously for sticking, marking and decorating over many months.
- Techotchi – exclusive collaboration character: This new Tamagotchi character with a pink beak and angular feet was developed specifically for the Hobonichi collaboration and appears exclusively in this series.
- Index tab format: The cuts are proportioned so that the character heads extend visibly beyond the page edge when stuck on the side – functional index tabs that also decorate the page.
- Classic pixel aesthetic: Kuchipatchi, Mimitchi and Mametchi are designed in the familiar pixel art style of the original series and look as though taken directly from the 1996 device display.
- Poo motif: The humorous cult symbol of the Tamagotchi series has its own design block – 20 sheets for those who know what really matters.
- Compact format: The entire set measures 145 × 100 × 3 mm and weighs 18 g – fits flat into any Techo bag or pencil case.
Use & Tips
- As index tabs in your Hobonichi Techo: Position the sticky notes so the characters peek out from the side – instantly recognizable, personalised index tabs for weeks, months or project sections.
- Quick notes and reminders: Write short notes on the white area with pencil, ballpoint or fineliner; the format fits one to three lines of text.
- Decoration in bullet journals or planners: Stick individual sheets on pages where a character matches the mood or content – Kuchipatchi for lunch, the poo for days when everything goes wrong.
- Scrapbooking and card making: The small motifs work as decorative elements on cards, in letters or in notebooks.
- Cleanly removable: Sticky notes adhere evenly to smooth and calendered paper, peel off without adhesive residue and can be repositioned elsewhere.
- Techotchi as a gift: The set makes a perfect small gift for Techo users and Tamagotchi enthusiasts – compact, thematically fitting and from an official Hobonichi collaboration.
For Techo and Tamagotchi Enthusiasts
Techotchi is not a generic Tamagotchi character, but a novelty: this character with a pink beak – which functions as a pen holder – and small angular feet was developed specifically for the Hobonichi collaboration. The original Tamagotchi was released on 23 November 1996 and celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026; Hobonichi's entire collaboration series this year is marked by this anniversary milestone. Collectors of the Techo collaboration line will also find Techotchi on the matching Techo covers and other accessories in the series.
