The Kaweco Art Sport Terrazzo is a compact pocket fountain pen made from high-gloss polished acrylic – cream-coloured base, vibrant mosaic inlays, golden accents. The handcrafted casting process of the acrylic material creates unique patterns: no two pieces are alike. Closed, it measures 106 mm, and with the cap attached it extends to 13.5 cm – long enough for comfortable writing, compact enough for any jacket pocket. The stainless steel nib is manufactured in Germany and is available in five sizes.

The acrylic body of the Art Sport Terrazzo is created through a casting process in which coloured acrylic particles are embedded in the base material – comparable to the handcrafted principle of genuine terrazzo, in which marble or glass fragments are set into cement. Since particle distribution cannot be controlled, colour distribution and pattern depth vary noticeably from piece to piece. The subsequent high-gloss polish reveals the depth of the pattern and gives the surface a cool, smooth feel – despite the warm colour play underneath. The stainless steel nib in the Kaweco standard has a short, rigid geometry that provides consistent ink flow even with varying writing pressure; it responds less to pressure variations than a gold nib, but writes robustly and requires minimal maintenance.
