The Stalogy 018 Editor's Series 365 Days is a Japanese B6 notebook that enables daily planning and free note-taking simultaneously – without forcing either. The yellow softcover in textured card stock gives the book a warm, calm character. Inside, 368 pages of thin, ink-friendly Japanese paper at 52 gsm await – light enough to keep the book compact, yet resisting show-through remarkably well. Manufactured by Nitoms in Japan.

• 4 mm grid in light grey: The gridlines are printed so subtly that they barely catch the eye when writing – yet become instantly useful for aligning tables, sketches or lists. The 4 mm grid of the B6 is finer than the 5 mm grid of larger formats, allowing tighter, more detailed work.
• 52 gsm Japanese paper, ink-resistant: The paper is smooth enough for fountain pens with fine and medium nibs and shows minimal show-through with moderate ink amounts. Quick-drying gel pens and oil-based ballpoint refills also work without issue. Not archival.
• Undated page layout with helpful elements: At the top of each page are month, day of week and date to circle – those using the book as a diary or pure notebook simply ignore these fields. Along the left margin run hour markings from 8 to 21, allowing quick daily structuring.
• Lay-flat binding: Thread stitching with adhesive allows the book to lie completely flat or bend back almost 360 degrees – practical for one-handed writing on the go or at a cramped desk.
• Slim volume despite 368 pages: The thin paper keeps the book under 1.5 cm spine width – it fits into any bag without bulk.
• Yellow softcover: The warm, muted sunshine yellow looks cheerful and clear on the textured card stock rather than garish. Gold foil on the cover remains understated.

• As an undated daily planner: The hour strip on the margin provides rough daily structure. Those without appointments use the page as free note space – the grid keeps everything together without dominating the page.
• Fountain pen with fine or medium nib: The smooth Japanese paper responds precisely to fountain pen lines. Very wet inks or flex nibs with heavy ink flow can cause show-through – those working with these should place a writing underlay (shitajiki) beneath the page being written on.
• Bullet journalling in B6 format: The 4 mm grid is particularly suited to compact layouts, small calendar grids and miniature graphics. The format fits many notebook leather covers designed for larger B6 books.
• Travel companion: The slim spine and light weight make the book an uncomplicated everyday companion. Combined with a small ballpoint or compact fountain pen, the entire package remains considerably lighter than an A5 notebook.
• Washi tape and stickers with care: Adhesive elements on pages double the paper thickness locally – with many pages the book can noticeably swell by the end. Those decorating pages should distribute stickers as evenly as possible.

The 4 mm grid in B6 allows finer divisions than the 5 mm version of larger formats – a small but noticeable difference when drawing miniature spreads or carefully composing handwritten layouts. The 52 gsm paper sits in the same weight range as the paper of well-known Japanese Hobonichi planner books and behaves similarly smooth when writing – with slightly faster drying times.
