Traveler's Notebook 20th Anniversary Set (brown)
The TRAVELER'S notebook Card Size 20th Anniversary Set is a completely new format in the TRAVELER'S system – created as a limited edition to celebrate Traveler's Company's 20th anniversary. The brown leather cover measures 110 × 75 mm (without elastic band) and fits perfectly between palm and pocket: always at hand, never cumbersome. The set contains five notebooks with MD Paper, a dark brown cotton zip case and a kraft paper folder – everything that transforms the cover into a notebook, wallet and card holder all in one.

- New Card Size format (110 × 75 mm without elastic band): The smallest format in the TRAVELER'S system, slides flat into jeans or jacket pocket and sits securely in your hand – without the typical flopping of a larger cover.
- Hand-crafted leather cover in natural leather: The soft, unlined leather develops a unique patina over time – colour, texture and surface change with use and the wearer. Every cover is one of a kind.
- Anniversary logo embossed on the back: The 20th Anniversary logo is impressed into the leather – discreet, permanent, no sticker or print.
- Five notebooks with MD Paper (Blank, 32 pages each): Three MD Paper White notebooks (grey cover with letterpress logo print), two MD Paper Cream notebooks (brown cover with gold foil stamping). The MD Paper is fountain-pen-friendly, shows minimal showthrough and responds to gel pens and fineliners cleanly and sharply.
- Cotton zip case (dark brown, paraffin-coated): Sewn by hand-craftspeople near Tokyo. Left pocket for cards or business cards, right side with zip for coins or keys – fits as an accessory inside the leather cover.
- Kraft paper folder in impregnated, textured paper: For folded banknotes, tickets, receipts or postcards – flat, sturdy, ready to insert directly into the cover.
- Modular system with Connecting Rubber Bands: Two silicone connecting bands allow you to carry multiple inserts and accessories simultaneously in the cover and swap them as needed.
- Replacement rubber band (orange): Included to complement the brown cover.
- Cotton pouch included: Protects the set during storage and doubles as gift wrapping.
Use & Tips
- Daily quick-note notebook: A single MD Paper White notebook in the cover is ready to use immediately – for ideas, addresses, to-dos, quick sketches. Pencil, fountain pens with fine to medium nibs and gel pens work particularly well on MD Paper.
- Compact wallet configuration: Zip case (coins/keys on right, cards on left) + kraft paper folder (notes folded flat) + one notebook, combined with Connecting Band – creates a complete, slim everyday organiser that fits any jacket pocket.
- Business card and card holder: The leather cover with zip case alone is ideal for carrying loyalty cards, business cards or travel cards – particularly at events, when travelling or moving about the city.
- Travel companion: Kraft paper folder for boarding passes and tickets, notebook for notes and addresses, zip case for foreign currency – the Card Size covers all your travel needs in an object smaller than a passport.
- Writing instrument recommendation: MD Paper is not archival. Fountain pens with fine to broad nibs, gel pens and fineliners produce precise lines with good ink flow on the slightly cream or white paper. Quick-drying inks and oil-based ballpoint refills also work reliably.
- Leather care: Natural leather may transfer colour to clothing or other materials when wet. If wet, blot dry and allow to air-dry in shade. Do not store in direct contact with other leather goods or vinyl materials.
For TRAVELER'S Notebook Enthusiasts
The Card Size is the smallest format in the TRAVELER'S system to date and was specially developed for this anniversary set. The inserts measure 100 × 65 mm when open and are bound with saddle stitching – the same technique used for all other TRAVELER'S notebooks. The cotton zip case is hand-sewn near Tokyo and sealed with a paraffin coating that makes the thin fabric dimensionally stable and water-resistant without making it stiff. The Connecting Rubber Bands are made from silicone, making them more durable than conventional latex rubber. After the anniversary edition ends, Card Size refills will be available separately through Traveler's Factory and Traveler's Company USA – so the cover can continue to be used long-term.
