Hobonichi Clear Cover on Cover A6

The Hobonichi Clear Cover is a transparent protective sleeve made from soft polyester, designed to fit precisely over a Hobonichi Techo Original A6 with cover — as a cover-on-cover, not directly on the book. The material sits snugly without altering the tactile quality of the underlying cover, and allows colours, patterns and textures to shine through crystal-clear. A narrow gap between the sleeve and cover creates space for creative customisation.

Features

• Fitted to the cover, not the book: The sleeve is sized to fit the outer dimensions of an A6 cover. Without a cover, it sits too loosely and offers no reliable protection — direct use on the bare book is not recommended.
• Clarity without discolouration: The clear polyester material introduces no yellowing or cloudiness over the cover beneath — prints, embroidery and colour gradients remain perfectly visible and unaltered.
• Insert pocket as a design space: Between the cover and sleeve, you can insert photographs, postcards, illustrations or printed designs. The cover itself stays protected and unchanged.
• Opening for the rear pocket: A cut-out on the back keeps access to the rear cover opening clear — the cover's function remains fully intact.
• 0.6 mm wall thickness: The construction is barely noticeable; the book still fits comfortably in your usual sleeves and bags.
• Incompatible with leather and faux leather: With leather or faux leather covers, the sleeve may affect the surface or colour — suitable exclusively for polyester and fabric covers (Colors series, printed covers).

• Swap seasonal inserts: Change the insert design whenever you like, without opening the planner: a travel photo, a hand-drawn map, a printed pattern.
• Free print templates: Hobonichi provides downloadable designs in the Download City that are precisely sized for the insert gap in the cover-on-cover.
• Cleaning the outer surface: Fingerprints and light dirt wipe away cleanly with a slightly damp cloth.
• In cold weather: Polyester stiffens slightly at low temperatures — warming it gently in your hands makes it easier to slip on, especially in winter.
• Check fit before use: This sleeve fits only the Hobonichi Techo Original A6 with cover. The Cousin (A5 with cover) and Weeks (direct on the book) require separate sizes.
