The Alettone Cover in Grey is a three-panel soft PVC cover for the Hobonichi Techo A5 (Cousin). Soft, flexible PVC feels cool and smooth in the hand — it yields to pressure without losing its shape. Three panels wrap around the planner and close with a press stud; inside, a pen loop holds your fountain pen securely by its clip. The inner surface is embossed with: "Writing by hand is like sending your mind on a journey."

Use & Tips
- Insert your Hobonichi Cousin: The cover fits perfectly the A5 Cousin (annual planner, Avec halves, or seasonal editions). Simply slide your bookblock into the cover pockets — no gluing, no damage to the original binding.
- Choose your pen: The loop is wide enough for standard fountain pen and rollerball clips; slim ballpoints with narrow clips sit securely too. Very bulky oversized pens may slightly bow the flap when closing.
- On the go: The closed press stud flap protects the open page from dirt and scratches in your bag or rucksack. At just 2 mm thick (without the bookblock), it takes up minimal extra space.
- Using Avec halves: If you work with two Hobonichi Avec halves, insert whichever one is currently active and carry the other separately — the cover switches between bookblocks without any fuss.
- Cleaning: A slightly damp microfibre cloth is enough for the exterior; wipe the embossed interior with a dry cloth to prevent moisture seeping into the embossing.
