Twenty die-cut panda stickers made from washi paper – each one a small, delicate piece of Japanese paper culture. This set by Furukawashiko brings together five different panda designs, four of each, on a carrier sheet with centre perforation for clean, tear-free removal. The washi paper gives the stickers a light, textured finish that feels naturally pleasant on paper surfaces.

Features

  • Washi paper material: The characteristic fibre texture of washi sits smoothly on the surface and appears less glossy and plastic than conventional foil stickers – ideal for paper projects where a harmonious overall appearance matters.
  • Die-cut motif shapes: Each sticker is precisely cut around the panda silhouette with no white border to distract from the design. The five different poses – sitting, rolling, eating and more – can be combined in varied ways.
  • Pre-cut carrier sheet: The centre perforation of the carrier sheet makes removal considerably easier; the stickers can be cleanly gripped with a fingernail or spatula without curling.
  • Compact format: The sheet measures 75 × 80 mm and fits easily into any notebook, planner or sticker collection.

Use & Tips

  • Planners & journalling: The small panda designs work as markers for special entries, week-start symbols or simply as visual enhancements on blank pages – they adhere particularly reliably on smooth, calendered paper.
  • Cards & correspondence: Two stickers as a seal replacement on an envelope flap – the matte washi surface can be annotated with a fine pigment liner or gel pen if a small comment needs space next to the motif.
  • Gift wrapping: On kraft paper or tissue paper, the white panda designs create a clear, restful accent; the washi material blends particularly well visually with natural, uncoated paper surfaces.
  • Scrapbooking & mixed media: Since washi stickers leave less adhesive on decorated pages than foil stickers, they work well for collages with multiple layers overlapping.

For Paper Enthusiasts

Washi (和紙) is traditionally made from long plant fibres such as kozo, mitsumata or gampi, which gives the paper its characteristic strength combined with lightness. For sticker applications, washi is fitted with a self-adhesive layer but retains its open fibre structure and thus its matte, slightly rough feel. This surface accepts water- and pigment-based inks – such as from a brush pen or fine-liner – without bleeding, making it possible to write directly on the sticker afterwards. Furukawashiko is an established Japanese paper goods company with extensive experience in designing washi-based stationery and decorative papers.
