• Eggshell-coloured, voluminous paper: Werkdruck paper is loaded with fillers to achieve high volume – the sheet feels substantial and full-bodied, lies pleasantly in the hand and hardly shows through.
• Lignin-free and acid-free: The paper is made from pure pulp without lignin and does not yellow over time – notes and letters remain legible and archival for the long term.
• 2 mm backing board: The unusually thick cardboard backing makes the pad a self-contained writing surface – no desk, no clipboard needed. Even the last sheet lies as firmly as the first.

Use & Tips

• Fountain pens and liquid rollers: The uncoated, matt surface takes water-based ink well – drying times are shorter than on coated paper, and the writing is more precise. Stub nibs and flex nibs look particularly beautiful, experiencing the gentle writing resistance of the matt surface as pleasant feedback.
• Writing without support: The 2 mm thick backing board allows relaxed writing in an armchair, whilst travelling or standing – the pad is self-supporting.
