TRAVELER'S COMPANY 20th Anniversary Event

20 years of the TRAVELER'S notebook! An occasion to celebrate in style. And for the team at TRAVELER'S COMPANY, a chance to do the TRAVELER'S notebook's name real justice: it's setting off on a journey! First Japan, then South Korea, the USA, the Netherlands, and finally Germany too. Along for the ride is a truly unique workshop. We at LUIBAN have the great honor of marking the final stop on that journey. Which makes the workshop on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße the last chance, for now, to put together your very own, fully official TRAVELER'S notebook insert.

Create Your Individual Insert

As part of the TRAVELER'S COMPANY CARAVAN, the worldwide 20th Anniversary event of the TRAVELER'S notebook, we're inviting you to a special workshop at LUIBAN. From a selection of 8 cover papers and 37 to 39 different inner papers, you put together your own personal insert in Regular size, and the team, who has traveled all the way from Japan, trims and staples it into shape for you.

Schedule, Time Slots and Booking

15 minutes = 1 person = 1 insert. To give you enough time and calm to gather the individual pieces of your insert, we've divided the two days into 15-minute time slots, one per insert. Each slot covers the whole process, from selecting to stapling and trimming. Due to limited space, only you can enter the workshop area yourself. Your loved ones will get to watch from the waiting area (there are chairs and a couch for tired legs). Our team is looking forward to guiding you through this little world of paper.

Choose the time slot you'd like to come in below. The 15 minutes cover both gathering your papers and having our team trim and staple them. A maximum of nine inserts can be created per slot, with each person able to create up to two inserts within one slot.

Each insert requires its own booked slot. If you're ordering for others or want to create more than one insert, count how many inserts that adds up to and book that many slots. To give everyone a fair chance at getting a slot, we kindly ask you not to book more than two slots for yourself. If spots are still available after October 20, feel free to book additional inserts and slots.

Payment is due right away and must reach us by October 20. If it doesn't, we'll have to cancel your booking so someone else can take the spot. Cancellations are possible until October 20 with a full refund. In case of a no-show or a later cancellation, we're unfortunately unable to refund the amount, as staff and materials are reserved for you whether or not you attend.

Notes for Participants

Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your slot so you have time to settle in and we can give you a short introduction. Your invoice also serves as your entry ticket, so please bring it with you on the day, digital or printed.

Even without a ticket: for everyone curious

The workshop is just one part of the event space. In the open area in front of it, you're welcome to stop by even without a ticket: stamp your notebook, browse at your own pace, and pick up our full TRC range.

Alongside the workshop, there are two more highlights of the event, both limited: the TRAVELER'S notebook Baby (black) and the ready-made Refills, available in Regular and Passport Size. The Refills are reminiscent of the DIY workshop, but already assembled, bound with a selection of different papers, and ready to go straight into your TRAVELER'S notebook. Both are available throughout the event, in the event space as well as at the LUIBAN store.
