The Kakimori × TSUKI no IRO mini ink bottle set (July–December) is a collaboration between the Hobonichi Techo and Kakimori, a Tokyo-based stationery shop. Six mini bottles containing water-based pigment ink, with colours precisely matched to the twelve monthly colours of the Hobonichi Techo – this set covers the second half of the year from July through December. After drying, the ink is water- and lightfast, making it particularly suitable for notes that need to be preserved long-term.

Use & Tips

• Fountain pens and ink pens: Water-based pigment ink flows particularly well in fountain pens with medium or broad nibs – fine nibs tend to clog more easily with pigment inks. Use your pen regularly so the ink doesn't dry in the feed.
