The Hobonichi Cover Single Color: Lago is a zippered case for the Hobonichi Techo in A6 format. The exterior is made of polyurethane manufactured in Italy, which is embossed across its entire surface – the fine texture gives the surface a velvety, consistently matte feel. "Lago" is the Italian word for lake, and the deep, calm blue of the case carries this mood: clear, concentrated, with a depth that changes depending on the light. The polyester interior lining also features the blue and completes the color concept on the inside.

• Full-surface embossing on Italian PU: The polyurethane material manufactured in Italy is embossed across the entire outer surface. The texture breaks light finely and gives the blue a vibrant, almost textile appearance – while maintaining a durable, stain-resistant surface.
• Wraparound zipper: The zipper runs around three sides of the case and keeps inserts, loose papers, and pen accessories securely together even in a bag. The zipper pull is made from the same PU material as the cover – no material discontinuity in the details.
• Pen holder with clip fixation: Inside is a pen holder that secures a pen via its clip. The diameter accommodates pens up to approximately 13.5 mm – fitting most common fountain pens, rollers, and mechanical pencils in A6 format.
• Lightweight: Approximately 205 g including the case – for a zippered A6 cover, a lightweight companion that doesn't stand out in everyday use.
• Same color inside and outside: The deep blue runs throughout – exterior material, polyester interior lining, and zipper pull are color-coordinated.

Application & Tips

• Choosing a pen: The clip holder works well with fountain pens and rollers whose clip is firmly attached to the barrel. Pens with very soft or movable clips can slip. For everyday use, compact models with a diameter under 12 mm are recommended.
• Care of the PU surface: The embossed texture can be cleaned with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Intense rubbing on rough surfaces should be avoided to preserve the embossing long-term.
• Combination with Cover on Cover: Those who want to further personalize the case – for example with postcards, photos, or an additional protective layer – can add a matching Cover on Cover for A6 format (sold separately).
• Hobonichi book sold separately: This case is supplied without an inserted Techo book. It fits exclusively the Hobonichi Techo Original in A6 format.
