Italian Notepad long black

A simple, black notepad in long format – Italian in manufacture and character. The black cover sits firmly and protectively around a block with completely blank pages that have no predetermined framework. The long format fits into jacket pockets, planner sleeves, and narrow bags where an A5 would be too bulky.

Features

• Blank pages without ruling: No grid, no lines – the surface belongs entirely to what emerges on it: sketches, layouts, free handwriting, quick diagrams or short texts without guidance.
• Black cover: The matte, dark surface looks discreet and timeless. Black bindings show no signs of wear from dirt and match any environment – desk, studio or travel bag.
• Long format: Narrow, elongated proportions – ideal for lists, columns, draft letters or notes that are structured lengthwise. Fits into DIN-long envelopes and most organizer sleeves in this format.
• Made in Italy: Italian papermaking tradition – with a focus on consistent paper quality and clean block binding – is the foundation of this simple, everyday-practical notepad.

Application & Tips

• Fountain pens and ink rollers: Blank pages without embossing clearly show the flow of a pen – no grid breaks the flow of writing. For fountain pens, it is recommended to first test with an ink quantity that matches the paper weight; for lighter paper, it is better to use dry-running nibs.
• Quick sketches and layouts: The format invites column-wise work – two narrow text columns, a page layout, a storyboard strip. Those who sketch with pencil or fineliner have complete freedom over the surface.
• Shopping and packing lists: The long format matches the classic list length exactly: one column, continuous, to be checked off. No unnecessary margin, no wasted space.
• As an insert in system planners: Pads can be inserted into many sleeve systems or loose sheets can be used as loose inserts – practical for daily task notes in the planner.
• Ballpoint pens and oil-based refills: On blank, smooth paper, oil-based ballpoint pen refills write particularly cleanly and evenly. Fast-drying gel refills are also suitable if the pages are to remain in the block.
