Midori Paintable Roller Stamp - Mountain Scenery

The Midori Paintable Roller Stamp "Mountain Scenery" rolls a Japanese mountain landscape directly into your planner, journal or notebook – as a continuous pattern strip, without stamp pad, without ruler. The set contains three individual roller stamps whose motifs – mountains, trees, flying birds – interlock seamlessly and can be combined to create a complete panorama. The built-in oil-based pigment ink in black dries smudge-proof on paper and makes the rolled impression a template for coloring.

Application & Tips

• Build a landscape panorama: Roll all three stamps one after another over the same page – mountains in the background, trees in the middle ground, birds as an accent. This creates a complete image from three layers.
• As page frame or dividing line: Roll a strip along the page edge or between two sections in the planner for a calm, structured look.
• Color with water-based markers: After stamping, fill in the areas with brush pens, watercolor pencils or colored pencils – mountains in gray, trees in dark green, sky in light blue.
• Border design in bullet journals: Narrow mountain strips at the top or bottom page edge as a recurring design element for weekly or monthly pages.
• Paper selection: On smooth, low-absorbency paper, the oil-based ink dries more evenly and the contours remain sharper. On highly absorbent papers, the ink can spread slightly – testing on a sample page is recommended.
• Pressure control: Roll lightly and evenly, without force – too much pressure can apply too much ink to the rubber surface and blur the motif.

The modular system of Paintable Roller Stamps is designed for interchangeability: roller stamps from different sets can be stacked and mixed with each other. If you combine the Mountain Scenery set with other landscape sets, for example, you can create individual scenes. The rubber roller is manufactured so that the motif strip runs seamlessly – the beginning and end of the pattern close neatly when rolling further, without visible gap or overlap. Refillability makes the stamp a long-term tool rather than a disposable product.
