Hobonichi Double-Stick Tape

The Hobonichi Double-Stick Tape is a flat adhesive tape dispenser in card format – compact enough to slip into the inside pocket of a Techo cover. The pre-cut strips of paper-based double-sided tape peel off individually and are ready to use immediately, with no need for glue, scissors or a dispenser. Two strip lengths cover different adhesive tasks – from narrow fixing points to wide strips for tickets or photos.

• Pre-cut strips in two lengths: 7 × 22 mm (54 pieces) for small fixing points and 7 × 46 mm (27 pieces) for wider surfaces such as tickets or receipts – so you can grab the right size for any adhesive task straight away.
• Flat card format (55 × 92 × 3 mm): fits into the inside pocket of standard Techo covers and stays within reach without wasting space.
• Clean to use: no liquid glue, no glue puddles on journal pages, no sticky fingers – simply place the strip on what you want to stick and press down.
• Paper-based: The strips sit on a paper backing rather than silicone film – this gives them a pleasantly matt feel and makes peeling off easy to control.

Use & Tips

• Cinema tickets, bus tickets and till receipts: The 46 mm strip is long enough for the short sides of many tickets. Two strips at the corners are enough to hold a ticket flat on the journal page.
• Photos and Polaroids: Stick the adhesive strip to the back of the photo, press briefly – done. No wrinkling of the page from moisture like with glue sticks.
• Ephemera journalling: Small notes, stickers or menu clippings can be positioned with the 22 mm strip without damaging the page underneath.
• Stick things down on the go without tools: Since the strips peel off individually and are immediately adhesive, you can glue in a find even in a café or on a train – just press down on a smooth surface like a notebook cover and you're done.
• Tip for thin journal paper: Apply the strip to what you want to stick first, then position it – this prevents the adhesive from showing through on the back of the journal page.
