TWSBI Ink Bottle VAC 20A black (20ml)

The TWSBI VAC 20A ink bottle is a 20 ml travel container made of plastic, specifically designed for filling TWSBI vacuum fillers. The three-part closure creates an ink-tight screw connection between the bottle and filler. Refilling on the go is clean, without soiling your fingers or table. The bottle is supplied empty and can be filled with any filler ink of your choice.

• Three-part closure for three filler systems: The upper cap is matched to the screw thread of the TWSBI Vac Mini, the middle cap fits the TWSBI Vac700 – and the lower opening functions as an open ink bottle for all other fountain pens.
• Vacuum filling to maximum capacity: When normally filling a Vac700 or Vac Mini from an open ink bottle, the ink cartridge only fills to about two-thirds. The VAC 20A seals tightly with the grip section – by flipping it over and actuating the piston, the filler fills to the full chamber capacity.
• Travel size 20 ml: Compact enough for pen cases, travel kits, or desk drawers. The volume is sufficient for several complete fillings of even large vacuum fillers.
• Color coding via cap color: The black cap helps distinguish different inks at a glance – practical when multiple VAC 20A bottles are in use simultaneously.
• Compatible cap with TWSBI Diamond 50: The VAC 20A closure also fits the TWSBI Diamond 50 ink bottle, making the combination of both products flexible.

Application & Tips

• Filling the Vac Mini: Unscrew only the upper colored cap, screw the filler in with the grip section. Flip the bottle and filler together so the nib points upward – then actuate the piston. The ink runs directly into the chamber without air interrupting the process.
• Filling the Vac700: Unscrew the upper colored cap and the gray plastic adapter (middle cap), screw in the filler, flip the system over, actuate the piston – done.
• Other fountain pens: Remove the entire cap; the bottle then functions as a compact, travel-proof ink bottle from which any fountain pen can be filled by dipping.
• Traveling with ink: The tightly sealing thread makes the VAC 20A ideal for taking favorite inks on the road – no need for the original bottle.
• Multiple inks at once: Different colored VAC 20A bottles (black, blue, green, red, orange) enable quick identification: which ink is in which bottle.
• Cleaning: The bottle can be thoroughly rinsed with lukewarm water. When changing inks, it's recommended to thoroughly rinse the inside of the cap and seal and let them dry completely before filling with new ink.

The VAC 20A solves a mechanical problem familiar to every vacuum filler owner: The vacuum filling mechanism of the Vac700 and Vac Mini sucks air into the chamber when freely dipped into an ink bottle before the piston is fully depressed – the result is a fill to about two-thirds capacity. The screw connection of the VAC 20A seals the grip section and bottle neck completely, so when flipped over and the piston is actuated, a closed system is created: no air, no interruption, full chamber capacity. This is not a comfort feature, but a functional difference that provides noticeably more writing time per fill for ink-intensive nibs – broad nibs, flex nibs, wide italics.
