Hobonichi Page Keeper for A5

The Hobonichi Page Keeper is a flat polypropylene clip card with a nylon rubber band – designed as a permanent accessory for Hobonichi covers with pen holders. The card sits in the inner right bottom corner pocket of the cover; the rubber band grips around your chosen page and holds it without putting strain on the paper. When you open the cover, your planner automatically opens exactly where your last note awaits.

Features

• Sturdy PP card (127 × 77 mm) with nylon rubber band and aluminium element – fits precisely into the corner pocket of classic Hobonichi covers with pen holder, no gluing, no drilling required
• The rubber band lies flat between the pages and leaves no marks on the thin Tomoe River paper
• Opens automatically when you turn pages: open the cover and you land directly on your marked page – no extra handling needed
• Perfectly sized for the Cousin A5 – the card dimensions are calibrated to the format so the card neither protrudes nor wobbles
• Keeps your planner closed when it's in your bag – the rubber band wraps around the book and prevents unwanted page turning

Use & Tips

• Mark your daily page: place the rubber band on today's date each morning – next time you reach for your Cousin, it opens immediately on the correct page, even if you've been flipping through it
• For ongoing lists (to-do, project, shopping), position the band once and leave it there for several days; it sits securely and can be moved to another page whenever you need
• Only fits Hobonichi covers with pen holders (Butterfly Stopper) – the mechanism won't work with softcover editions without an inner corner pocket
• The aluminium element is easy to grip, allowing you to quickly move the band to another page without searching
• If you use the Cousin for two different projects, you can combine the Page Keeper with a separate bookmark as a second orientation point

For Hobonichi Enthusiasts

The Page Keeper is specifically designed for the Tomoe River paper used in the Cousin: the nylon rubber band is wide enough to distribute pressure over a larger paper surface, avoiding the fine creases that narrow rubber bands could leave on the gossamer-thin 52 g paper. The PP card is deliberately kept thin – it sits in the cover without thickening the book's spine or making it difficult to close the cover pocket. Made in Japan.
