The matt midnight blue cover is made from thick, through-dyed cardboard with a linen spine, lying cool and firm in the hand; the spine gives way immediately when opened and holds every double page perfectly flat on the desk. Inside, cream-coloured 80gsm paper with eucalyptus fibres awaits – slightly organic in texture, pleasantly soft under the nib.
