Blackwing Pencil Volumes 71 (12 pcs.)
Tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright and his architectural ambition. Each pencil features silhouette of one of Wright’s iconic perforated boards printed in a muted, midcentury palette. The area around the board is unfilled, letting the natural wood of the pencil shine through. Each pencil also includes a copper ferrule and an extra-firm graphite (HB).
With roots in the 1930s, the pencil once developed by Eberhard Faber was discontinued in 1998. After many requests from a wide variety of artists, Palomino finally resumed production in 2010.
Note: For careful sharpening with an unusually flat angle, we recommend the KUM ‘Long Point’ pencil sharpener.
