Postalco Snap Pad Powder Blue (A4)

The Postalco Snap Pad in Powder Blue is a refillable A4 organisational system with patented snap binding: perforated sheets are simply snapped in at the top and can be rearranged, added to or removed at any time. The cover is made from Pressed Cotton – a dense cotton fabric produced on the same machinery used for tent cloth – which becomes softer and more characterful over time. Hand-crafted in Japan.

• Snap binding (patented, refillable): Sheets with standard 2-hole perforation (EU/Asia) are simply snapped in at the top – no gluing, no stapling, no fixed layout. You can rearrange the order whenever you like.
• Capacity up to approximately 100 sheets: Plenty of space for project folders, weekly planners and ongoing notes in full format.
• Pressed Cotton cover, PFAS-free: The densely woven cotton fabric feels firm and pleasantly textured – robust enough for daily use, while comfortable to handle. The white fabric threads become more prominent with use; the material softens and develops its own patina.
• Subtle water-resistant finish: A discreet surface treatment protects the cover during brief encounters with moisture, without masking the natural tactile character of the fabric.
• Powder Blue colour: A cool, dusty light blue – matte and understated, without drifting into grey. Pleasant on the desk, unobtrusive in meetings.
• Snaps with Postalco logo: The metal snaps along the top edge feature Postalco's stylised carrier pigeon mark – a fine detail that only becomes visible on closer inspection.
• Compatible with all Snap accessories: Snap Paper, Snap Paper Plain, Steno Paper, Snap Calendar, Snap Pockets and Fabric Tabs can be snapped in directly.

Use & Tips

• Perforate your own sheets: Punch any A4 sheet using a standard 2-hole punch (EU/Asia standard) at the top – and it's ready for the pad. Print templates, briefing sheets or custom weekly planners can be integrated directly.
• Separate subject areas: Place Fabric Tabs on blank sheets to keep project areas, calendars or meeting notes within sight – one finger is all you need to find the right page.
• As a mobile project board: Keep current tasks, sketches and reference materials in one pad instead of spreading them across several notebooks. Remove completed items, snap in new ones.
• Snap Paper as filler: Postalco Snap Paper is tailored to the binding and sits flat in the cover – no buckling, no shifting while writing. The paper works with ballpoint pens, gel pens, pencils and fountain pens.
• Steno Paper for structured note-taking: The steno paper with centre line divides each page into two columns – context on the left, notes on the right, or simply two parallel subject threads. Narrower line length means less eye movement and faster writing.
• Snap Pockets for loose-leaf materials: Business cards, receipts, postcards or small notes can be placed in the Snap Pockets and stay directly with the relevant project.

For Planning Enthusiasts

The idea behind the Snap Pad came about when Postalco designer Mike Abelson combined the metal snaps from a calendar cover with a perforated card – and immediately noticed how satisfying it is to fix paper with a click. The perforation spacing matches the two-hole standard used in Europe and Japan, which means any standard office punch produces compatible sheets. The system is open – no proprietary paper format, no dependency on special inserts. The Pressed Cotton surface is the same material used for robust outdoor textiles; the difference from the Snap Pad HW (Heavy Weight) lies in the fabric feel: the classic Snap Pad lies flatter and lighter in the hand, while the HW model has a deeper, more pronounced weave structure.
