The exterior is made from locally produced, paraffin-waxed cotton fabric – a material that gains texture and character with every use. Handcrafted in the suburbs of Tokyo, the case is secured within the notebook using an elastic band, just like a standard notebook insert. The warm beige tone of the fabric carries the same quiet, lived-in aesthetic as the leather cover itself.

• The open slip pocket holds boarding passes, train tickets, business cards or small memo sheets – anything flat that needs quick access.
• If you use the notebook as a passport holder, the Zipper Case doubles as a combined travel wallet: foreign currency in the zip pocket, local cards and tickets in the slip pocket.
