Palomino Blackwing pencil extender

Blackwing pencils are sharpened until barely anything remains – and that's exactly where the pencil extender comes in. Made from milled aluminum, this part slides into the rectangular Blackwing sleeve and gives the pencil full writing length again. The matte black surface matches all Blackwing models visually: from the Matte to the 602 to the Volume editions.

The rectangular sleeve is the distinctive design feature of Blackwing pencils – and that's exactly why conventional round pencil extenders don't work here. Standard extenders work via a cylindrical opening, which doesn't accommodate the square Blackwing profile. This extender solves this through a different approach: instead of sliding over the pencil, it fits into the clamp of the sleeve and thus uses exactly the design element that other extenders exclude.
