The Papoutsi "Paris" wrap pencil case is a handcrafted writing pouch made from brown High-Chaparral cowhide – a leather with a particularly lively, natural character. The high lanolin content gives the material a soft, slightly oily feel and creates a surface that refracts light differently, developing its own unique patina over time. It is handmade in Berlin.

- High-Chaparral leather with lanolin content: The cowhide feels supple and warm – softer than plain leather, but with significantly more structure than embossed synthetic surfaces. The lively grain makes every case a unique piece.
- Wrap format with generous capacity: The case holds approximately 15–20 pens or writing instruments. Fountain pens, rollerballs, fineliners, pencils – the format suits mixed collections as well as coordinated sets.

Use & Tips
- For fountain pens with converters or piston-filler pens: The compartments of the wrap case securely hold even slightly heavier writing instruments. Rubberised or stitched retention loops prevent fountain pens from knocking against each other.
- Leather care: High-Chaparral leather benefits from occasional leather care with a colourless balm – this preserves suppleness and gradually deepens the patina. Strong direct sunlight or moisture should be avoided.
- As a desk organiser: Rolled up and laid open on the desk, the case provides a clear display for your current writing instrument set – no searching, always at hand.
- Breaking it in: Fresh High-Chaparral leather may feel somewhat stiff initially. After brief use it becomes noticeably softer and adapts to your own grip pattern.
