Hobonichi Tamagotchi: Folder Set of 2 (A5)

Two A5 folders from the collaboration between Hobonichi and Tamagotchi – crafted from lightweight, flexible polypropylene that is water-resistant and holds its shape. Both folders fit precisely into the slip pockets of A5 Hobonichi Techo Cousin-format covers and keep notes, receipts, stickers or photos flat and within easy reach. Each of the two folders is printed on both sides: a scene from the Tamagotchi world on the front, the iconic care screen of the respective character on the back.

Features

• Precision fit for A5 cover pockets: The dimensions of 234 × 148 × 3 mm are tailored to the slip pockets of the Hobonichi Techo Cousin – no slipping, no protruding at the edges.
• Two designs in one set: Folder 1 features Oyajitchi surrounded by ice, rainbows and radio cassette recorders on the front, with the Oyajitchi care screen on the back. Folder 2 shows the UFO from the original Tamagotchi packaging with Tamagotchi characters on the front, the Techotchi care screen on the back.
• Polypropylene (PP): The material is water-resistant, lightweight – both folders together weigh approximately 34 g – and doesn't crease permanently, even after daily use in your bag.
• Made in Japan: Planning, design and production are all carried out by Hobonichi in Japan.

Use & Tips

• Organise loose documents: Receipts, tickets, business cards or cut-out pictures find a permanent home in the cover pocket – flat, organised and instantly accessible.
• Sticker storage: Sticker sheets and off-cuts stay crease-free and flat in the folder, rather than being rolled up or folded during transport.
• Photos and Polaroids: The A5 format easily accommodates standard photos in 10 × 15 cm format; multiple prints stack neatly without sticking to each other.
• Separate two categories: Since the set contains two folders, you can keep two different types of content separate – for example, completed receipts and open notes.
• Not just for Cousin covers: The folders can also be used individually in any other A5 binder or bag as a protective interlayer.

For Hobonichi and Tamagotchi Enthusiasts

Oyajitchi – the distinguished-looking, mustachioed Tamagotchi character – has a special connection to Hobonichi: he appears regularly in Hobonichi collaborations and is now a recurring motif in the Techo world. Techotchi, meanwhile, is an exclusive Hobonichi character developed specifically for the Techo product line and appears only in Hobonichi collaborations. The set brings together two reference cultures – the analogue planner routine and the digital pet care of the 1990s – in one object that remains hidden when the cover is closed, revealing its designs only when opened.
