• Fits Hobonichi Techo Original and Planner (A6): The cover comfortably accommodates books with a spine width of up to approximately 12.7 mm; thicker books will also fit but may feel snug.
• Inserting your book: Open the book completely until the front and back covers touch, then slide both covers simultaneously into the cover pockets – this protects the leather and prevents creasing.
• Pen selection: Slender fountain pens with smooth, non-rubberised grip sections glide most easily through the butterfly loops. Once in place, the pen reliably keeps the cover closed.
• Leather care: Dry the leather immediately if it gets wet. Colour may transfer to other leather or textile materials upon prolonged contact – especially during the break-in period.
• Break-in period: The pen loops may initially feel slightly stiff but will open up comfortably after a few weeks of use. The cover will close more securely after the break-in phase.
• Not compatible with cover-on-cover: The leather cover cannot be combined with a transparent secondary cover.
