The Cover Colors "Honey Lilac" is a polyester cover in A5 format from Hobonichi's established Colors series. On the outside it displays a warm, rich honey yellow – inside, a crisp, cool lilac awaits. The polyester fabric has a fine, slightly shimmering surface and feels featherlight in the hand despite its durability.

Use & Tips

• The cover fits the Hobonichi Techo Cousin in A5 format. A5 books with a spine up to approx. 1.27 cm sit without issue; slightly thicker notebooks also fit, though the fit will be snugger.
• The butterfly pen loops accommodate slender to medium-weight writing instruments – a thin fineliner or a fountain pen with a narrow clip fits neatly in the loop. Wider writing instruments such as markers with wedge tips can stretch the loops over time.
• Washi tape and stickers adhere to the polyester fabric but cannot always be removed without leaving residue – if you want to redesign the cover regularly, the Cover on Cover works better as a surface for decorations.
• For cleaning, a slightly damp cloth is sufficient; aggressive cleaning products can damage the fine surface sheen.
• The lilac inside creates a beautiful contrast with beige-white Tomoe River paper – if you use coloured ink, you'll find an evocative frame for the pages here.
