The Hobonichi Cover POTR: Stroll was created in collaboration with POTR, the lifestyle label of Yoshida & Co. – the company behind the iconic Porter bags. The cover for the Hobonichi Techo Cousin (A5) is made from bonded nylon: matte in finish, soft to the touch, with a polyester lining in black and navy. The concept is consistently executed – the Techo becomes a wearable bag.
Features
- Bonded nylon with matte finish: The outer material is Yoshida & Co.'s signature treatment – lightweight, soft nylon that doesn't reflect light and retains its shape even with frequent handling. The embroidered POTR circular logo adds a subtle accent on the front.
- Shoulder strap with D-rings: A detachable, length-adjustable shoulder strap transforms the cover into a full crossbody bag – keeping both hands free. Two carry handles at the top snap together and offer a second carrying option.
- Two large exterior pockets: One spacious flat pocket on the front and one on the back, accessible without a zip – ideal for smartphone, card or travel ticket that you need to grab quickly.
- Full-length zip closure: The cover closes completely, securing the contents – even in a bag or during a busier day out.
- Structured interior (left): Three card slots and a clear viewing pocket – large enough for a passport – allow neat organisation without searching.

- Travel use: The clear interior pocket holds a passport; boarding passes, credit card and cash fit in the card slots. The cover acts as a travel organiser.
- Pen recommendation: The pen holder is designed for slim pens such as mechanical pencils or fine fineliners; thicker fountain pens can be secured via the clip – ideal for fountain pens with a larger grip section.
- Care: Do not store bonded nylon in damp conditions for extended periods – colour transfer to other materials is possible, especially if the cover gets wet.
