"Tragen" is the German word for the most important thing this case does: keep your A6 Techo close at hand along with pens, cards and bits and bobs. The triply foldable case is crafted from soft black nylon and closes magnetically – the magnet is padded with a bovine leather tab, making the closure not only gentle but tactilely pleasing. • Combine Techo with weekly planner: If you carry a slim Hobonichi Weeks or an additional insert, you can tuck these into the case's interior pockets – the setup remains a compact package.
• Organise small items structurally: The gusset area of the zip pocket is ideal for paperclips, washi tape strips, business cards or stickers – anything that would get lost in a trouser pocket.
• On-the-go routine: Because the magnetic closure opens without searching, the case can be quickly opened and closed whilst commuting or in meetings – no velcro, no press-stud, no fiddling.

The name "Tragen" is no accident: Hobonichi designed this from the ground up – folds, elastic band variants and other constructions were rejected until the triple-fold with magnetic closure remained as the stablest and sleekest solution. The A6 version is deliberately cut a touch larger than standard Techo covers, so the filled zip pocket doesn't exert tension on the binding. The nylon is a soft fabric with a gently matte reflection – not high-gloss, but noticeably more refined than technical rucksack nylons. If you use the Tragen with an A6 Techo with a thicker binding (e.g. through an additional cover-on-cover or a filled insert), note that the magnetic closure reaches its comfortable range at a spine width of around 1.3 cm or more.
