Hobonichi Pencil Board - ice gray x yellow Weeks
The Hobonichi writing pad in grey, Weeks size – known in Japanese as shitajiki – is a thin, lightweight plastic sheet made from Yupo synthetic paper and cut to the exact dimensions of the Hobonichi Techo Weeks planner. Placed under the current page, it provides a firm, even writing surface for the planner's delicate Tomoe River paper: ballpoints and fineliner pens glide smoothly without pressing through or leaving marks on the reverse. In ice grey with a yellow grid, the pad also adds a subtle colour accent that complements any Techo cover.
Features
- Perfect fit for Hobonichi Techo Weeks: The pad sits flush within the open planner and doesn't shift while writing.
- Firm writing surface made from Yupo synthetic paper: The material is thin (0.4 mm) yet dimensionally stable – pen tips find consistent resistance, which makes the line particularly controllable with fine nibs and fineliners.
- Protection against impressions: The Techo's delicate Tomoe River paper is sensitive to pressure. The pad absorbs this and protects the pages beneath from unwanted impressions – particularly important when the planner is already full and therefore uneven.
- 5 mm grid on the front: The pattern serves as a discreet ruler and orientation guide when structuring layouts, drawings or tables, visible right through the paper.
- Millimetre scale and ruler printing on the reverse: Continuous mm markings along the edge make the pad a precise measuring tool without needing a separate ruler.
- "Today" tab included.
