Eleven rubber components, a brass plate, a walnut wood handle – and you can stamp any calendar month of any year. The principle of the perpetual calendar: the modular stamp parts are rearranged each month, so weekdays and dates are always correct. The stamp impression measures 50 × 50 mm and fits precisely on a journal spread, postcards or planner layouts. Made in Japan.

Features

• 11 modular rubber components – by rearranging them, you create a complete calendar for every month and every weekday starting point. The parts can be assembled with either Monday or Sunday as the first day of the week.
• Days 29, 30 and 31 removable – shorter months are simply adjusted by removing excess date numbers. The fields remain blank, no retouching needed.
• Brass base plate – the metal plate ensures even pressure across the entire 50 × 50 mm stamp surface. The edges are sharply finished – handle carefully when rearranging the parts.
• Walnut wood handle – the dark, grained wood feels warm and compact in your hand. Each piece shows its own grain pattern; knots and colour variations in the wood are natural and typical of production.
• Compact format – 50 × 50 × 75 mm overall dimensions, light enough for a pencil case or desk tray.
• No stamp pad included – the stamp is open to any colour: from pigment ink for full coverage to water-based stamp inks for subtle tones. A zip pouch for the individual components is included to prevent loss.

Use & Tips

• Bullet journals & planner spreads – reassembled each month, the stamp delivers a complete mini monthly calendar in a single impression. Ideal as a foundation for habit trackers or as an overview at the beginning of a weekly view.
• Choose your weekday starting point – arrange the parts so the week begins on Monday or Sunday. Before your first impression of the month, quickly check the configuration: assemble all parts horizontally first, then connect vertically.
• Stamp pad coordination – on smooth, calendered paper and with pigment ink that's not too wet, you'll get a crisp, sharp-edged impression. On rougher papers, apply slightly more pressure.
• Postcards & correspondence – a freshly stamped monthly calendar as a letter enclosure or on the back of a postcard gives planners and correspondence enthusiasts a practical time reference.
• Care of rubber components – after stamping, wipe the individual parts dry or with a little water before placing them in the included zip pouch. Dried pigment ink on the small rubber nubs becomes harder to remove later.
• Lost parts – the rubber components are individually crafted and cannot be reordered separately. Regular storage in the pouch protects against loss.

The functional principle is based on the fact that just 11 parts cover all 14 possible calendar configurations of a Gregorian year – seven possible weekdays as the start of the month, each in both common year and leap year variants. The brass plate keeps the rubber components flat during printing and prevents individual elements from shifting sideways, which can easily happen with pure wooden bases without guide structures. The warm, matte surface feel of the walnut handle develops a subtle patina over time – similar to other Japanese brass objects from everyday use.
