The cowhide is tanned using traditional vegetable methods in Germany and finished by hand: firm to the touch, warm to the feel, with a characteristic leather scent. The natural finish is completely undyed – the pale, cream-coloured leather responds to light, heat and handling, developing a deep, honey-coloured patina over time.
