• Replaceable stainless steel nib (size 060): The nib is tool-free interchangeable via screw mechanism. This lets you switch to different nib sizes (EF to BB) or calligraphy nibs – all Kaweco 060 threaded nibs fit.

• On the go and everyday use: The cap is posted on the barrel when writing. This creates a balanced feel, suited even for longer writing sessions.
• Ink selection: With smooth, calendered paper, the fine nib reveals its best handwriting – inks with medium to good flow characteristics work reliably. Fast-evaporating or heavily feathering inks can occasionally challenge the fine nib.
• Nib break-in: Kaweco Sport series stainless steel nibs typically write slightly stiff out of the box – after a short run-in period of a few pages, the writing feel evens out.
• Cleaning: The nib unit can be easily rinsed under lukewarm water by unscrewing it. When changing inks, a brief soak until the water runs clear is recommended.
• Converter tip: The Kaweco mini converter with its folding piston button fits precisely and prevents accidental ink ejection into the cap – useful during transport.
