Multi-functionality: Many of Midori's rulers are deliberately designed as multi-purpose tools. The foldable Multiple Ruler in aluminium, for example, is 15 cm when folded and fits in a pencil case – unfolded it measures 30 cm and can even be used for cutting. With Midori, function and compactness are not mutually exclusive.
Materials & Craftsmanship: Brass, stainless steel and aluminium are the preferred materials – durable, pleasant to hold and developing a patina that grows with use. The stencils are produced using an etching process, allowing precise, repeatable drawings directly in your notebook.
